I have enclosed two photos in this email of a Townsend's Solitaire that was in my yard tonight (7/20/05) feeding on lantana berries. We have never to my knowledge had this bird in July in the county. The bird was not vocal. Due to the current weather conditions and my limited knowledge of Mexican solitaires, I thought I would pass these photos on to you. I do not have a good picture of the Slate Colored Solitaire. This is a strange bird for the southern plains this time of year.
